The Cape of Goodhope Nature Reserve – Cape Point
This area forms part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and is home to a few species of antelope, wild ostrich, Zebra and the very Cheeky Chacma Baboons. The Park is situated at the tip of the Cape Peninsular and end with Cape Point, the mystical meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. No visit to Cape Town is complete without visiting Cape Point.
Simons Town, Boulders Beach, African Jackass Penguins
Simons Town was first home to the Royal Navy and since the country’s independence became the Head Quarters of the South African Navy. A quaint little town situated in False Bay with a busy Harbour. The area has a few interesting sights, like Boulders Beach with the African Jackass Penguins close by, a Navy Museum, a toy museum and the famous statue of Able Man Just Nuisance.
